The trick to removing gum from carpet is ice. You grab a couple ice cubes or a ice pack from freezer. You will apply the frozen item to the gum and wait 30 sec-1 min for gum to become solid (frozen).

After gum is solid use something, such as; spoon, fork, butter knife.... to remove the majority of gum,. You will then cut the remaining pieces of gum out.

Notes:

1.You do not want to rub the gum. This will cause it to get more .stuck.

2. Also do not cut too much of the carpet. You will only need to cut the little bit remaining at top if all gum was not removed in whole.
