Blotting is the most important factor when it comes to removing stains from carpet. To remove; use any type of a cleaning solution and a clean cloth and dab at stain for best removal. DO NOT RUB!

To avoid spreading stain, blot from outside in. Doing this the opposite way; pushing the stain out, can actually cause a larger stain.

Always blot from the outside of the stain inward, if you are blotting inward to outside of stain you can actually make the stain larger.
